Looks like http://mashdallas.com/ is pointed somewhere OTHER than WordPress.com. Do you have another web host like GoDaddy or someone?
-
yes. I purchased it through godaddy but my web developer must have moved it. He passed away several months ago.
the domain shows up on Wild West Domains but I have no idea how it go there. -
Hello @lardnergroup!
It seems as if it is still hosted at GoDaddy (based on the NS47.DOMAINCONTROL.COM setting).
I would recommend getting in touch with GoDaddy support and having them help you manage your domain and site settings. Once you’ve regained access to your account you’ll be able to redirect it to WordPress.com – assuming that’s your end goal. :)

Seems like he transferred management of it to them? If you can, go to http://mashdallas.wordpress.com/wp-admin and look at the Domain page there; do you have a current Domain Mapping upgrade? It could well be that you own the URL but the mapping expired. You may also have lost control of the domain altogether, in which case you’ll need to buy it again. Wild West Domains is more or less WordPress, so that’s so far so good. My bet is that mapping expired and the domain may or may not have expired.

The domain does not show up on my godaddy account.
I have called Wild West.
It appears that the DNS needs to be updated. Is it possible my web developer just didn’t complete this?? -
It is possible, but does it say you have domain mapping on your WordPress.com blog? Because you need BOTH the domain and the mapping upgrade to make this work. Deal with this from the Domains page of your WordPress.com blog.
