Can’t find my widgets!

  • Unknown's avatar

    Hi all,
Yesterday I created my blog and tried several themes. I applied many widgets to theme but everytime I found something I didn’t like I changed my theme without removing the widgets (isn’t WordPress addicted to do it automatically?). Now, I chose a theme and applied it, but I can’t find my widgets! For example: the blogroll widget or the Meta widget, I can’t add them (there isn’t the option). What I have to do now? Is there a way to reset the widgets? Or I have to navigate through all the theme’s sidebars to find my lost widgets?
I searched in FAQ and in forums, but I didn’t find nothing similar to my situation. Can anyone help me?
Thank you and excuse me if my english is not perfect ^^
    Have a nice day!!!

Can we get a link to your blog, starting with http?

Well, once you start messing around with widgets you wipe out the original ones, so I’d recommend you do that. Put a new widget in the sidebar, click Save. That will delete the original ones. Then you can add any you want. CLick Save after each addition.

    Thank you very much!!!
    You’re my hero! ;)
