Can’t find social media buttons in custom theme

    We’re trying to add social media buttons for new social media profiles to our blog. We had a developer create a custom theme for us three years ago. It doesn’t appear there are any additional plugins for social media. When we click ‘Inspect’ to see where the buttons are located, the HTML offers that it’s in the header bar. The only thing is there’s not editing abilities for the Header on our website, when looking in the Appearance and Customize and Themes sections of the dashboard.

    Is this something we will need to go back to the developer about? Have you had similar experiences? Thanks.
