Can't find the email forwarding function
-
I would like to create email addresses with my domain name with email forwarding. In the instructions, it says, “You can configure Email Forwarding from My Domains, by clicking the Edit button next to your domain and then Email.” I go to domains in The Store and there is no edit button, just the primary email address (thaefner.wordpress.com) and a blank space under ‘Manage’. I tried clicking “register a domain name” and it tells me it’s already registered. I tried “Map a domain name” and it tells me it’s already mapped. Where do I find it?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You need a custom domain for that:
Email Forwarding feature lets you use your custom domain in your email address, so your email address can be just as memorable as your blog. All your mail will be forwarded to an email address you choose.

Right, so how do I do that?
I’m already using my blog domain name. When I go to register it, it says, “The domain name you entered is already mapped to a WordPress.com blog.” So where do I find it?

From your first post:
The blog I need help with is tfhaefner.wordpress.com.
http://tfhaefner.wordpress.com/ is not a custom domain.
You need a custom domain, like
http://tfhaefner.com
or http://tfhaefner.net
or http://tfhaefner.me
or….. etc. -
The domain name is thepoetrysalon.com.
I’m the one who has that domain name, but it’s not showing up as a custom domain on my domains page. What am I not understanding here? In the store, when it tells me to buy a custom domain name, it just directs me back to my domains page.

No, I get that. I believe I already pay for that upgrade and have a custom domain name that I don’t see on that page. It’s thepoetrysalon.com, and I already have a designed website at that URL.

Go to http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-helper/ and put
thepoetrysalon.comI see this:
Non-WordPress.com Nameservers
Although thepoetrysalon.com has been registered, it is not using WordPress.com nameservers. If your domain is mapped to a self-hosted site, then your configuration may be fine as currently set up. If you wish to host your site at WordPress.com, you will need to update your nameservers as outlined below.
We require that your name server configuration include only the following servers or their numeric equivalents:
NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
NS3.WORDPRESS.COMYour name servers are as follows:
NS1.NIFTYINDIA.COM
NS2.NIFTYINDIA.COMIf you have access to change the nameservers for this domain, please remove all nameservers not on the required list above.
A DNS lookup for your blog returns the following information:

Forgive me, but what does all that mean in language that humans speak? Am I not on WordPress? Do I need to make new email addresses somewhere else?

Go to
http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-helper/ —>Select a domain put thepoetrysalon.com and click on Validate Domain button. Then, read the info and follow the instructions.
