Can't Find the PLUGINS section in WordPress Admin.
-
Hi there, I’m new to wordpress, just started using the platform recently and can’t find the PLUGINS option in the admin section. I’d like to install the Google Publisher Plugin so I can display AdSense Ads and also have Google Search index my blog: gaudini.com. Would you please reply back with how to find the PLUGINS section?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there!
Third party plugins cannot be installed on WordPress.com sites. This is a security risk as we cannot vet all outside code and it puts our users, their sites, and our servers at risk.
Plugins are only usable on self-hosted WordPress.org sites.
I know the difference between .com and .org can get confusing, so here’s a breakdown of the benefits of each:

Please let me know! Cheers.

Hi Robyn! thanks for your response.
I’m asking about Google Adsense – not exactly a huge security risk. I just reviewed the wordpress.org comparison.. and unless I’m missing something obvious, this is definitely not for me… more like a roll your own website, and less of a template based platform.
So… how can I display adsense ads on my blog?
best, Garrett.

Hey Garrett,
Google AdSense is one of the 3rd-party ad networks that we do not allow.
Here’s a link to all the possibilities you have for ads on WordPress.com, as well as the rules and regulations:

If you have questions about this, please drop me a note. Many thanks!
