Can't find the "renew" button.
-
I’m attempting to find the “renew” button on my “upgrades” page. The page has expired.
I want to renew it, but can’t for some reason.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
-
Make sure you are logged in with the username account that purchased the original upgrade.

Well, the problem is that the original administrator seems to have fallen off the planet. I have *an* administrator account, but not *the* administrator account. I can’t usurp titles.
-
That’s unfortunate because the owner of the blog is the person with the username account that registered the blog, who is the original Admin and who purchased the upgrade for it. If you can contact the blog owner they use this process to transfer the blog’s ownership to your username account.

The upgrades also need to be transferred. The important one is the domain name registration. Any other upgrades can be purchased as soon as they expire and not much disruption to service.
Domain name renewals are more difficult because of internet rules and the domain name usually stops working for a while and no way to make sure you can get the old domain name when it expires.

Hi there, unfortunately, even if you were able to get in touch with the upgrade owner, the domain socosolidarity.net expired 42 days ago and was lost to someone else at a domain auction, so it can no longer be renewed. You can read more about the domain expiration process here:
If you have any other questions, please let me know.
