i want to change the theme of my potential website to HELP. I can’t find the theme anywhere in the themes from drop down menus on our site, even tho I know the HELP theme exists

Is this the HELP theme you are referring: http://themeforest.net/item/help-ngo-wordpress-theme/5459291
If so, as you noticed, it is not available on WordPress.com Theme Directory. This theme can be used only for self-hosted WordPress sites.
In case you haven’t got a chance to know the difference between WordPress.com and WordPress.org (self-hosted WordPress site), I encourage you to check it: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

I am trying to build a Church Web site using WordPress.com but cannot find any religious themes. Do WordPress produce such a theme and if so, where would I find one please?

There are no themes specific for religious sites. But you may like something if you look around in https://theme.wordpress.com/

Thank you very much for your reply. I have in fact found a theme which is ok for what I want – “Intergalactic” – our site is under http://www.stmargaretsifield.wordpress.com (in case you can see it). I am having a problem in as much as I deleted an unwanted page from the list of pages only to find, it is still showing in the menu and I cannot find out how to remove it. Would you be able to tell me how it is done please??

ronbin80 – have you gone into your Custom menu setup to delete it?
https://stmargaretsifield.wordpress.com/wp-admin/nav-menus.php?action=edit&menu=4937
When you activate a custom menu, if you later delete something you no longer want displayed in the menu, you need to manually remove it from the menu.
p.s. if you need further help in the future, please start a new thread rather than continuing to add to this one. Thanks!
