It looks like you recently exported your blog so I believe you may have already found the tools section. If not, you can find it here:

    https://drfitfrenchy.wordpress.com/wp-admin/

Here’s a screenshot of the specific section on your Dashboard:

Let me know if you need anything else!

I assume you want to use your domain drfitfrenchy.com with your self-hosted site. Is that correct? If so, you’ll need to set that domain up at Hostgator and point the domain to Hostgator name servers following the steps here:

    Change a Domain’s Name Servers

After an hour or so of changing the name servers, you should see your self-hosted login screen at drfitfrenchy.com/wp-admin. That will log you into your self-hosted site where you can import your file!

i did this and when I login it said “Although your site address is drfitfrenchy.com, keep in mind that your dashboard address is drfitfrenchy.wordpress.com/wp-admin”I thought I was self hosted now and not with wordpress.com anymore.
    Any thoughts?

    Hi!

The name servers on your domain are still pointed to WordPress.com. I believe the issue here is that the domain is currently unlocked which would happen if you were trying to transfer it. When a domain is unlocked, you’re unable to change the name servers on the domain. There are two main options:

    1. Continue with the domain transfer and wait until it’s complete. Then, you can use your domain with your self-hosted site.

    2. Lock your domain again and change the nameservers. The domain would be registered at WordPress.com, but you would be able to use it with your self-hosted site.
