can't find trash

    freaking out because I click “discard changes” on a PREVIOUSLY WRITTEN AND ALREADY SAVED draft and now it’s gone. I can’t even find my trash folder because of wordpress’s ridiculously new and SMART idea to remove it from our visitibility.

    Hi there,

    The trash folder has not been removed. But it’s only visible if there are deleted posts in it. You discarded changes on a draft, you did not delete the draft, so there’s no reason that it would be in the trash.

    The only place where the changes you’re looking for might be saved is in the post revision history. There should be a History link right at the top of the post editor that you can use to view past revisions:

    If the version you’re looking for is not there, it means it was never saved to our servers before you discarded it. In that case, there’s no way to get it back.
