Can’t find UPLOAD option in the MANAGE section

    hi. am a new user to WordPress. I started using this a few days before the site re-designed its interface. At that time, I was able to see the UPLOAD function in the MANAGE section and was able to upload several photos. When I tried to upload yesterday, I was unable to do so as I am unable to find the UPLOAD function anywhere in the MANAGE section. Where can I find this now?

    You upload from the write post or write page pages. There is a section at the right top of the editor buttons to the right of “Add media”.

    What about uploading pdfs or Word documents? I used to be able to use the Upload function tpp, but now can’t find it. With the ‘upload’ link I see now, there’s no option to search for a pdf or other document on my local computer to link it to my blog. Can anyone help with instructions for this? Thanks.

    Same as with uploading anything else. You go to Write Post, you upload there. If you do not see the browse box, but only the button, you have a different issue: use the Browser Upload in that case. And to resolve the issue, keep your eye on the Image Upload threads, where these issues are being worked out.

    What is inconvenient about this setup is that you often need to upload documents when you aren’t creating a page. For example when you’re using them inside a widget. It would be helpful to have this feature in the “manage library” section as well.
