Can’t Follow Blogs

  Can’t follow on desktop or app.

  It gives a green line saying you’ve followed a blog, then an immediate red line saying there was a problem following the blog name and try again later.

  Been going on for several days now.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there!

  It is not recommended to follow too many blogs in one go.
  If a user follow too many blogs in short span of time or follow too many blogs via the Reader without viewing the sites or reading any posts then system flags you as a spammer and blocks you from following.

  I have added modlook tag in the sidebar calling for staff attention. Staff can help you in releasing the block.
  Please be patient while someone from the support staff gets back to you on this.

  Hi peacelovegreatcountrymusic,

  It gives a green line saying you’ve followed a blog, then an immediate red line saying there was a problem following the blog name and try again later.

  The Reader stopped functioning properly due to the number of sites you followed — which resulted in the follow feature being disabled for your account. We’ve been able to re-enabled follows on this occasion and you should be able to continue doing so as long as you are following a reasonable number of sites. By that we mean, not using the feature for self promotion or approval.
