can’t format my post, can’t upload my pics too

please help me. yesterday i my blog was fine then as i tried to write a new post, the options for the format disappeared. (text color, alignment etc. disappeared) it seems i can only post in html codes. i also can’t upload my pics for my blog. why did this happen and what can i do about it? thanks so much!

I have IE and I can rarely upload photos. Sometimes the Upload box is there ubt most of the time it is not.

tainowoman, usually folks running Mcafee have reported that issue as they block iframes, what the uploader uses. Check to see if you can whitelist the wordpress.com domain or turn off that restriction. (Please also don’t hyjack other folk’s threads. That’s usually considered to be very rude on the net, like intrupting someone else speaking in real life.)
berkatrice, sounds like somehow you’ve losted the rich text editor. You can turn it back on by visiting Dashboard -> Users -> Your Profile and checking that box near the top of teh page for the editor and clicking on the save button. Please try that.

hi, i use internet explorer version 6. whenever i try to write a post the lower portion of the page displays error on page.
i tried using real one as a browser, same thing it came up with an error msg: error has occured in the script of this page. ‘realTINYmce’ is undefined.
Any suggestions? tnx

First try doing a forced reload of the page. If that doesn’t work, try clearing your browser cache and cookies.

i created a new blog under a new user name just to test my browser. the new blog turned out to be ok when i tried to write a post. the format options were there. but then i returned to my main blog, the format optios were gone again and it said that there was an error on the page.
i will still try your suggestion though. thanks.

I have the same problem.
I found message “error on page” on the status bar when I start creating a new post. The formatting tool bars doesn’t appear. The details is:

It happens when writing a new post. When i create a new page it’s ok. Can anybody help?
