    I apparently have made a mess I think as a newbie. I need to get into my admini page for teresawashington.com but I keep getting to teresawashingtondot.com wordpress and an old blog succeedtodaywordpress.com. I paid and began creating my teresawashington.com page now I can’t seem to get back in. My username was TeresaWashington but I can’t recall the password and when I try to reset it is not taking me to teresawashington.com its going to the others sites.

    Hi there,

    I see your domain, teresawashington.com, is currently pointing to Hostgator. Did you want to set up a self-hosted WordPress.org site with them, or did you want to use that domain with a site on WordPress.com?

    If you want to set up the site with Hostgator, you need to contact their support for help in installing the WordPress software to your hosting account with them. Self-hosted sites are in no way connected to our system and we don’t provide support for them.

    If you want to use the domain with us, you need to buy the domain mapping upgrade for your site, teresawashingtondotcom.wordpress.com, as you did before. All WordPress.com sites must have a free *.wordpress.com address, and you use mapping to connect an existing domain to that free address. Then the mapped domain will show in people’s browsers instead of the free address.
