Can’t get a cover image to change on the Blog Page

    Hi,

    My name is Jim Johnson and I’m a graphic designer with Arcticulate Media LLC. I’m doing a small bit of website graphics updating for Deliver Workforce Solutions, but have run into trouble. For whatever reason, the cover image on the Blog page simply will not change. To date, I’ve added a ‘Feature Image’ on every page of the website using either the very basic, standard WP Editor, or EmpowerWP Pro (the template the site owner uses) – and doing that has allowed me to change the cover photo on every other page of the website (all different). However, on the Blog Page, that’s not worked at all. And until recently, all we would get was a big gray box where the cover photo would normally go with a white page title across it that says ‘BLOG.’ However, the page also self-corrupted recently and grabbed the cover photo from another page of the site (the Learning Center Page) and inserted it as the cover image for the Blog page as well – and rearranged the blogs and apparently tried to make purchases on it’s own too (as some of the blogs once showing are now failed purchase transaction messages instead of the featured blogs that were once there). At any rate, all kinds of problems on this blog page and I’d like some help understanding why such a simple thing isn’t working for me and what I may be doing wrong (as I usually use the Elementor Pro plug in to do all my WP editing, but was specifically requested not to for this edit by the site owner). And your standard, basic editor is so clunky and non-user friendly that it’s highly possible it’s all user error, lol…
