can’t get image to show up..help!

  Hi,

  I’ve been trying to add an image to a text widget. I’ve also been trying to follow the instructions at:

  Put an image in your sidebar

  but they seem to be out of date.

  I can’t find the url of the image in the ‘media’ section, as shown in the instructions, but I did locate the image in my webfiles and created the url from that…but it’s not showing up…only the text widget title is showing up.

  This is the code I put in my text widget box:

  <img src=”http://www.leilacools.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2009/01/leila_cools_etsy_sm22.jpg”>

  The url is correct..the image shows up in my browser..but not in the widget.

  Please help!

  okay…now it’s showing up…now to try to add a link

  I really preferred the old wordpress dashboard…
