Can't get images to appear in pages or posts

  I can upload images and they appear on the cropping page, and I can save the image, but then when hit “insert into post,” what appears is just a bunch of text (computer jargon related to the image). What’s up with that?

  The post editor has two modes: Visual and HTML. Which one of the two are you working in?
