can’t get into my site to edit

  when I type in my company name then /wp-admin it only takes me to my website and not an editable version.
  how can I get through to the basic version I can edit?

  Hi there,

  Try going to https://wordpress.com/log-in/, then, once you’ve got to your homepage (by clicking My Site in the top left-hand corner, which will take you to https://wordpress.com/home/), click on WP Admin.
  Is this not working for you?
