Can't Get It On My Posts Page

    At the moment, I’ve only posted twice and they both appear on my home screen which I don’t mind but I would rather just my latest post appear on my front page and all previous appear on my posts page. But I don’t know how to get them onto my Posts page??
    Sorry I’m a bit useless at this but I’m getting a little frustrated because I want to have posts on a different page to my home page

    Hi there,

    To do that you could set up a static page showing just the latest posts and have the blog showing the rest of the posts. You can do that by going to Customize and set a static and blog page.

    Hi I created the static page but my posts then wouldn’t go onto my posts page…do I have to edit the url link so it’ll appear on there or should it go there automatically?

    I think maybe the theme you’re using doesn’t have the feature to have latest posts on the static page. You might want to see if you can find one that gives that option: https://wordpress.com/themes/

    I do not know of any themes that allow us to vary the number of posts displayed the way you describe and CSS editing for appearance changes only does not allow us to change how any theme is designed to function. .
