Cant get more than 50 podcasts on iTunes at a time. Any help?

  I am currently running a podcast and have a feedburner uploading it onto iTunes. However, it will only upload the last 50 episodes, ala all the podcasts on the first page in the podcast tab. Is there anything I can do to fix this?

  No. We are all restricted to 50 posts in the Recent Posts widget.

  Staff provided the reason for reducing the number of titles that appear in the Recent Posts widget:

  There were some fatal errors and timeouts in cases where a blog loaded an extremely large number of posts in the Recent Posts widget or Posts per page setting (in Reading Settings). https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/problems-with-widget-recent-posts?replies=16#post-1032040

  You kinda of answered half of my question, cause I know I can’t find an answer through WordPress. I was wondering if there was anyway I could find a solution to this?

  There may be a way to upload them to iTunes that Itunes knows about and we don’t. Have you looked in the Apple forums? It’s possible they’ve put a limit on how many back issues one can upload at a time. You may have to just upload them one at a time several times a day or week.

  Good thinking. Thanks so much for wading in here. What I know about podcasting with iTunes would be lonely on the head of a pin.

  @1kcrew – the feed count being limited to 50 items (as @timethief mentioned) is why Feedburner (then in turn, iTunes) will only show your most recent 50 episodes.

  Since WordPress.com is a shared hosting platform, we need to limit the number of items in a feed to properly manage the server loads over all the sites we host.

  I’m not sure if you’re using this feed URL in Feedburner, but this is the feed for your podcast category:
  http://1kcrew.wordpress.com/category/posts/podcast/feed/

  As you can see, the last item in the feed is Episode 15, which is also the last item listed in iTunes right now. Currently there’s no way to configure a custom feed item count on WordPress.com, so your feed will always list your 50 most recent episodes.
