Can’t get my domain unlocked

    Hey! For some reason, I’m not able to unlock my domain. I have obtained the authorization code, but WordPress doesn’t recognize the domain as unlocked even though I’ve set it in motion.

    I suggest you read through the below links and see if you have met all the necessary steps required to transfer your domain over to WordPress.com.

    First things first. Have you purchased a plan or in other words got domain credit from WordPress.com yet? More on this here:

    Hi there,

    Can you please tell us what domain you’re trying to transfer to us?

    Unlocking your domain can only be done at your current domain provider, and it’s usually a completely separate process from requesting the auth code, so it’s very possible to be in possession of a valid auth code while your domain remains locked.

    Please contact your domain provider for help unlocking the domain as well. Also note it can take a few hours after unlocking a domain before we’ll be able to detect it as unlocked on our end.
