Can't get my posts to publish!

    Hi,
    I used to blog all the time when the blog was Myspace. Since it moved to WordPress I haven’t done much with it. However, I have now decided to give it a new name and look.

    That would be great if I could get a new post to publish! I type the post and I have my “publish” set to “immediately” and when I click on the blue publish button, nothing happens. The posts go into a draft and that’s where they stay.

    Can someone please give me a clue what I might be doing wrong or what setting I might have messed up? I would be grateful.

    I am getting so frustrated. I have six years’ worth of blogs which documents a very important time in my life but quite frankly I am considering scrapping the whole damn thing.

    Don’t worry. It can take time to learn how to use WordPress.com blogs. First of all, click this and teach yourself the essentials:

    Thank you! I will be studying this carefully! I have found that if I use “quick publish’ it works for me and then I go back in to edit and change things i.e. put the text into italics etc. But this is a pain so I need to learn about how to do it right first time!
