Can’t get my wordpress domain I purchased to point to a non-wordpress site

I have been trying to switch the domain I purchased from wordpress to stop pointing at the wordpress site and to the other site I mad eon google. I followed all the instructions that I got from google but it still isn’t doing it. I really would like my domain to stop pointing at the wordpress site.

Hi! At this time it looks like your domain’s name servers are set to point away from WordPress.com. It seems that this change is still propagating, i.e. servers and computers around the world are still in the process of detecting the new name servers you set. The propagation process can take a while, we usually suggest allowing up to 72 hours.
There are external websites not affiliated with WordPress.com which can give you a useful overview of how propagation is going; here’s one such site showing the progress of your name server change:
