Cant get Poll in sidebar

  I feel like a noob but how can I add a poll(daddy) to the sidebar. I can only get it working in a normal post but i want it in the sidebar….is that possible and how?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Please update your profile link (the blog linked to it has been deleted), or link to your current blog when asking questions here.

  For a poll in the sidebar, go to Appearance>Widgets, activate a Text widget, paste the poll shortcode in it, save.

  Note that one poll can only show up in one place in the blog, so if you have it in a post now, you must delete it from the post.
