Hi Magic Robot, when I view my last blog post via my Mac, the word “IMAGE” appears above the title – a word I never wrote and cannot erase in edit mode because the word “IMAGE” does *not* appear in edit mode. Btw, the word does not appear when blogpost opens on iphone! Weird. thanks for trying to help.

Hi there,
That is the post type for that post.
When you create a post in the editor, you can select different post formats, like Standard (the default option, for posts that are just text or a mix of text and images), Image (meant for posts containing a single image and little or no text), Gallery (meant for posts containing image galleries), Aside (for short posts without a title), Quote, etc.
For this particular post you selected the Image post format, and your theme indicates the post format above the post title in this way for any format except Standard.
To hide that you need to use custom CSS on our Premium Plan. Or you can edit the post and switch it back to the Standard format, and that shouldn’t appear.

Hi kokkieh, thank you for your answer, that really helped. One last question: is the word <IMAGE> visible only when I view it as admin of the blog, or do ll readers see this word on the blogpost? Thanks again!

Everyone that visits your site can see this.
Note that not all themes will display the type of the post so you may want to consider changing your theme. Your current one, however, is retired so, if you decide to change it, you will not be able to go back using it.You can try other themes without activating them by clicking on the three dots next to the theme’s name and choosing the option Try&Customize.
This will allow you to see how the theme would look like with your content and how could you customize it.
