Can't get rid of link in header – editing theme
-
Hi Everyone,
I am new to wordpress and am selecting a free theme. However, the first theme I selected has ‘Welcome to the Swedish Museum of Modern Art’ in the header. Now every theme I choose this comes up on each of them and I am not sure how to get rid of it. If anyone knows how to fix this that would be great.
Thank you!

Hi there,
From what I can see, that text comes from the title of your homepage. You can see it listed here: https://wordpress.com/pages/
If you edit the page, you can change the title from ‘Welcome to the Swedish Museum of Modern Art’ to ‘Home’ or ‘Welcome’ or whatever you would like the title of your homepage to be.
I also see that you are just getting started, yes? You may want to consider registering (for free) to one of our daily webinars here, such as our “Getting Started” site setup webinar: https://wordpress.com/webinars/
Hope that helps. Please let us know if you have any more questions.
