Can't get Slideshow to work on Home Page of Photographer Theme

I really need your help. I just spent hours trying to follow 2 different sets of directions to load a slideshow on my home page using the “Photographer Theme”.
I want the following 9 photos to represent my work in the slideshow so I created the post as one option to upload image(s). However, I can’t set more than one featured image.
http://jimkuiken.com/design-blog/I also attempted to set the home page as both “home template” (which includes a slideshow) and just as a slideshow page template. I tried reuploading the images to a slideshow page…nothing seems to work.
I also attempted to go into individual images and select them as a feature image so they will all display on the home page. I set a category to “Slide Show” and designated it as the post that feed the home page. That didn’t work.

Thanks. That’s good to know. I did end up fixing the problem by basically deleting everything I had done (listed above), plus, deleting the original “home page” (which the new theme had flowed in to). I created a brand new home page and then set it to a “Slideshow Page” (not a “Home Page”). The Slide Show page allowed me to add the photos I wanted and not have to post anything. I made sure the photos where all sized for web and all the exact same size so the slide show looked good.
