Can’t get the post to publish

    Hi, I am new to wordpress.com and to blogging. That said, I have managed to setup my blog and actually post one article. However, now when I create a post, save a draft, assign it to a category, and click publish, it is not visable on my pages. It will show up in preview and it states that it has been posted when I look at the categories on my dashboard but not when viewing the site.

    Any Help?

    Pages that you create are static and sit outside the blog structure. You cannot put “posts” on them.

    All your posts will show up in reverse chronological order (newest at top) on the “posts” page. For the different categories you will be posting in, go to appearance > menu and add those categories to your custom menu and arrange them as children of the “posts” menu and remove the pages with the same names. Then when someone clicks say, on music, they will get a listing of all the posts in that category.
