can't get the shortlinks right

  Help! I need to know how to link to another article or website so that clicking on that highlighted word takes you directly to site instead of seeing the entire h-t-t-p:// code ? Can’t figure it out anyone give me the clue i am missing? Thanks

  Hi chely5150!

  If you select the word (or phrase) that you want to turn into a link, then click on the link button on the toolbar (it looks like a chain), you’ll be presented with a pop up window where you can enter link http:// link. Paste or type in your link in this field and then click on “Add Link”. This will turn the word into a link, without displaying the entire http:// link as part of the text.

  Thank-you TAF for responding to my question. I will give it a try in the morning. P.S. I did try looking on the tutorials on links but if it is there I didn”t see it -maybe I need to have these peeps checked out. Thanks again- I ‘ll add a follow-up if it lets me. Chely
