Can't hide a widget

    Hello, I am using the “Responsive” theme. My problem is that when reading an individual post I do not want the “In Archve” sidebar widget to show. I want the post to show as a full page with no sidebar. I’m thinking this widget shows up by default. How do i get rid of it? Thanks
