Can’t I Make a Full Stretch Background with the Gutenberg on Astra Theme?

    I have made a site using Astra theme with Elementor (not pro) and see that the page can go full width stretch to the screen. Then, I tried working with Gutenberg but can’t work it out to have a full background like Elementor. I read on Google and a bit confuse with a few article where they talk about the settings of ‘Full Width’ and ‘No Sidebar’ but, nothing seem to work with my page here. So I am writing on this forum to find a conclusion if this is something Astra and Gutenberg can do. Thanks.

    I don’t know why I can’t edit my post above. I just want to add that there also isn’t ‘section’ block on Gutenberg for me to use like some website suggested . I only saw Column and Grid Layout.

    Many thanks for reaching out.

    It sounds like you have something specific in mind to build.

    I’ve taken a look at ynac.link and it looks like there are pages that a full width. Setting a page to full width, usually comes down the theme and the template in use, and Elementor and Gutenberg are different types of page builders.

    Are you able to point me in the direction of what you’re working on, so that I can take a closer look and make some recommendations.

    Thanks for the reply. Yes, it is currently full width page now because I’ve turned to use Elementor and deactivate Gutenberge. So my question still remains though if I use Gutenberge what theme works great with this editor to have a full width website?
