Can't import

  I have a WP.org blog I’m host myself and am trying to copy it over to my new WP.com blog that I set up — I export the XML file without errors, but when I attempt to import it, I get the following:

  Invalid file
  Please upload a valid WXR (WordPress eXtended RSS) export file.

  I have tried to do all content or just posts, and the message is the same — Any ideas?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  The import/export has been flakey lately. Contact staff directly on this and perhaps they can fix things for you, or perhaps they can import it for you.

  This is happening to me also. I did contact support and they have not transferred it yet so they must be having issues too.

  It is the weekend, and there are less people on duty, so it might be early this next week before you hear back.
