  • Hi @infonidsco,

I’ve gone ahead and reset the subscriber importer state for your site coyoskinjournal.wordpress.com, which clears the stuck import session that was causing the loop.

Before trying again, it’s a good idea to quickly review the email list you’re importing and make sure the addresses are all valid and correctly formatted. Cleaning out typos or inactive addresses can help the import go through more smoothly.

Once that’s done, please try running the import again.

If it still fails, let me know.

    Hi Michael Medahusi,

I am experiencing this same issue on my newest website, trueisaiah118ministries. Is there a way I can submit to have the same error fixed?

  • Hi there,

I’ve gone ahead and reset the subscriber import state. Keep in mind the advice above:

Before trying again, it’s a good idea to quickly review the email list you’re importing and make sure the addresses are all valid and correctly formatted. Cleaning out typos or inactive addresses can help the import go through more smoothly.

Additionally make sure these subscribers are people who have affirmatively agreed to be subscribed to updates from your site, as them reporting your updates as spam or unsubscribing immediately may lead to your ability to import subscribers being blocked again.

@staff-happinesspat Thank you for solving my issue. How do I reset the amount of people I can import? I was trying to resolve an issue for missing half of the people on my file and was wondering if I just delete all of the old imports and that will do it?

  • Hey there!

I’ve reset the importer state for both trueisaiah118ministries.wordpress.com and coyoskinjournal.wordpress.com, so you should be able to try importing again.

About your question on “resetting the amount of people you can import” – the import limits are based on your plan. As per our subscriber import guide, Free plans can import up to 100 subscribers, while paid plans have unlimited imports (though imports over 10,000 go through manual review).

If you’re seeing that some subscribers didn’t import from your file, it’s usually because of issues with the email list itself – things like invalid email addresses, domains with missing DNS records, or emails that have bounced in the past. See our troubleshooting guide for more details.

To get the best results, I’d recommend reviewing your subscriber list and making sure all email addresses are valid and properly formatted. This guide from MailPoet has some helpful tips on cleaning up your email list.

If you’d like a more detailed breakdown of what specifically happened with your import, feel free to reach out to us at help@wordpress.com from your account email and we can dig into the specifics there.

Let me know if you run into any issues with the import, or if there’s anything else I can help clarify!

Thank you very much, Minnie. Unfortunately, it still isn’t working, even when testing a single address at a time that I know is correct. It’s not the plan that’s the problem, because I have fewer than 100 subscribers. I don’t know if there’s a solution, but thank you for trying.
