Can't import wordpress XML file

    Hi, I’ve imported an XML self hosted WordPress backup on my blog on wordpress.com.
    It said I’d receive an email in 24 hours when import was complete. But I didn’t. What should I do?
    The export file (from version 3.3.x) works locally on the latest (3.9.1) version of wordpress.

    I have reset your importer for you. You can try your import again at any time.

    If you continue to have trouble with this, please let me know where your blog was before, and how large a file your import file is.
