Cant input post in the default 'Home' page.
-
Hi,
I would like to create a post in the default ‘Home page’ but I cant find the page listed in the “pages” section that will allow me to edit the page.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi. Are you referring to the blog linked to your username?
If so, just create a post as you have done in the past and it should appear on your front page (most recent first).
-
I have tried creating a post and name the title as ‘Home’ but it shown as 2 ‘Home’ page on my front page.
-
You still haven’t confirmed if you are talking about the blog linked to your username…

Please confirm. -

I think perhaps you are creating a new page, rather than a new post? Is that a possibility?
-
I see six posts on the front page for different products, none of them are called “home”.
I only see the following tabs on the top:
* Home
* About Shaohinoe Craft
* Contact Us
* How to order
* Terms & ConditionsThat’s why I didn’t understand what you meant by creating a post “and name the title as Home”.
-
Sorry, I did not explain well.
I am referring to the ‘Home’ tab. I believe this is a default Home page (Several themes have a special header tab, usually called “Home”).
I am trying to input an introduction in this home page but I am unable to do so as it is not listed in the “pages” section that will allow me to edit the page.
-
I think I get it. @airodessy, how does this sound?
@Shaohinoecraft – “Home” is by default your posts page. If you want a static introduction type page, you need to create a Page and then in the settings set your landing page to a static page, rather than your posts page.

I agree with teamoyeniyi. Here’s how to create a static front page:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/front-page/Alternatively, you can create a sticky post that would appear before your most recent posts:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/post-visibility/#sticky-posts -
The “home” page listed at the top is the main “blog” page which shows your posts. It is dynamically created on the fly by the wordpress software.
What you want it sounds like is a static main page. Create your home page and you will also have to create a page for your posts. You can call that one, blog, or posts, or whatever you like. Then follow the instructions here to set the “home” page you create as a static front page, and also set your designated “posts” page as the posts page.
After doing the above, create a custom menu and include the pages that you want in the top navigation, including the “home” page.

-
If I create a Page called “Home”, there will be 2 “Home” tap on the Top. Which I don’t want or is there any way that I can delete the default Home page that created by the themes.
-
If you deleted the default, you would not have a page for posts.
Perhaps your best option is airodessy’s option of a sticky post at the top of your Home page.
I realise you want your “Home” to be not the posts page, but some things we just have to accept! :)

The second link in thesacredpath’s answer is the solution to the “two Home tabs” problem.
-
@shaohinoecraft, that is where the custom menu comes in. It will only show specifically what you put into the custom menu and no more. If you put only one page called “home” into the custom menu, that is all that will show up.
