Can’t insert Adsense

  Hi, I keep trying to add a widget in the sidebar with an adsense unit code, but when I save, it erases the code I put there and just has a blank widget? Are we allowed to use adsense on these pages?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  If your blog is hosted here at wordpress.COM, the reason the code is stripped out is that adsense is not allowed here at the is time – nor is virtually any type of blogger generated advertising.

  A quick search of the support pages for “advertising” brought this: http://support.wordpress.com/advertising/

  You’re welcome. If you check the features page, at the bottom under “advertising” you will see that staff is thinking about offering some sort of upgrade that will allow people to put some sort of ads on their blogs. There is just no telling if or when it will actually happen.
