Can't insert links into posts?

  Hi!

  A few weeks ago (after two trouble-free years), I became unable to insert links into my blog posts.

  I highlight the text I wanted linked, as usual, click the link button, insert the URL in the place where I should, click the open-link-in-new-window part, then finally click ‘add link’.

  At this point I am taken back to the text-editing box (where I write the post) and the entire body of text is now highlighted, and if I preview the post the link doesn’t show.

  Help! ;)

  Could you first check if it might be a browser issue?

  Hi.

  I’d tried the forced refresh already, but no joy.

  Clearing cache and cookies doesn’t help.

  The problem occurs no matter which physical location I access WordPress from.

  I haven’t tried on another computer though, will do so tonight when I get home.

  I think I upgraded to IE9 around the time it happened. People on Twitter are saying to me to switch to Chrome? Not even really sure how to do that. It’s probably easy!?

  Using Chrome and it’s working fine again ;)
