Can't insert media into a page!
-
After I “insert media” into a page, what I inserted is just simply the name string of the media file! It is not a link to the file in the media library. For example. Go to my IRP STUDY GROUP page (from the menu). Now try to “insert” from the media, the file named “Resources_7Nov.
Going bananas here.

Sorry. I guess I didn’t express myself well. In my media library are many pdfs. The page that I cited above (“IRP STUDY GROUP”) is basically a table of contents. Each line is a pointer to a pdf. When you look at the page and click on the entry, the pdf is in view. My whole site is filled with this and I’ve had no problem!! This is a new development. I’ve never had this problem before.
thanks,

I have got a similar problem on my site. stargrouptrials.co.uk
If you upload and add media to a page it only loads the title and no link is attached to it. It does not come as clickable in blue characters.

Thank you for responding. I’m in crisis mode with my site. After a year and a half of happy usage in my classroom, I cannot now attach any media. Can’t update with new lines in the table-of-contents page “IRP Study Group.” Only get the title but no link. Dead in the water. Appreciate any help or workarounds that you can give.

I have found that if I click on the item in my media library and make a note of the full URL. https://etc and then go to edit page and highlight the title of what you have inserted then add the link using this URL you then get the required clickable link with the title in blue. You have to scroll across the URL box to get the full URL.
