Can’t insert photos into my post

I’m able to upload photos and see them in my gallery, but when I try to insert them into the post the popup window freezes up and the images don’t get loaded. I’ve tried this about 10 times tonight and it just isn’t working.
I couldn’t see any postings specifically about this.

refresh your cache and try again
if worst come to worst use image uploading websites to host your images =)

i have had this problem and sometimes can’t post you tubes either since the new dashboard and it is really frustrating!!
sometimes when i start over the next day i hve luck; it was suggested to restart–how much of a pain is that–to have to restart your computer in order to add an image or video??
again no problems for me with the old WP…

This has been reported several times over the past couple of weeks, although the search function is pretty broken, so it’s no wonder you couldn’t find it.
My suggestion for a workaround is to copy the URL of the image once it’s uploaded, then use that to put it in the post via the Image Icon, not the “insert in post” button at all. Then format it using the image icon and the column alignment icons.

Yes I am using I.E. running on XP. This is the first time I’ve tried to post in a couple of months, but it used to work fine and dandy from this machine.
I guess I’ll try restarting I.E., then rebooting if needed.
Raincoaster, thanks for letting me know the search function is broken too! Sorry to have to repeat a known issue. I did try to cut and paste the URL of the image, but the window wasn’t working very well and I couldn’t scroll over in the text box to get it all highlighted….

Try using Firefox. I hate having to recommend people totally change their browser, but you’ll find it works a lot better. And make sure your Flash is totally updated, otherwise you will be 100% completely hooped.

To copy the URL I click on the line, control a, control c. That works even if you can’t see all the URL. Then just close the pop-up.

Ok… I’ll have to try your URL tricks &/or install Firefox tonight.
I tried restarting I.E. and rebooting – and I’m still getting the same frozen popup window with no joy. I see many others are reporting the same issue now.

I’m having the same problem – I’ve tried rebooting as well as trying to use both IE and Firefox to no avail.

Same problem… Could load images a few days ago but not anymore… Don’t waste your time loading Firefox, doesn’t work either, refreshing the Cache doesn’t work and my images are jpegs and not screen shots so copying a URL is not an option. I’m guessing WP has an internal problem that they will hopefully fix soon.
