Can't lauch my site using the free "wordpress.com" domain

  Hi, I can’t lauch my site using the free “patsexplorations.wordpress.com” domain. I only get the paying option and if I try to use “a domain I now” and pute the free “patsexplorations.wordpress.com” domain I get the error “This is a free WordPress.com subdomain. You can’t map it to another site.”

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  “A domain I own” means you want to use a custom domain you have bought elsewhere. This is not the free wordpress.com subdomain you have.
  You can launch your site with one click, https://wordpress.com/support/settings/privacy-settings/#launch-your-site

  Hi there,

  After clicking the “Launch site” button, instead of purchasing, click “skip purchase” underneath your new free address.

  Oh, I had first to start typing a domain name and THEN the “skip purchase” option finally appeared.
  It worked now, but lease make the option appear immediatelly.
