Can’t launch site for free

  I verified my email and I am trying to launch the site for free but I am only given the option to purchase a plan. I have not seen any Skip Purchase option.

  Correct account: Yes

  Hi there, when you go to launch your site, type something in the line on the domains screen and then you’ll see your free .wordpress.com address with the Skip Purchase option at the bottom of that page. Then keep following any other free site prompts.

  Hi there! I’m having the same problem.

  I clicked on “skip purchase” which brings to page 2 or 2 for the launch process.

  There is no launch for free option on this page – only paid plans. How do I launch my site for free?

  Hi @fullywoven, can you confirm you did not pick a custom domain? You’ll need to choose the free domain (not free with purchase domain) to keep it free.

  Hi @supernovia, I figured it out. I had my site set to private in the “reading settings”. Once I changed that to “allow search engines to index this site” I was able to launch it just fine.
