cant launch website for free????

  Trying to put a website for an academic workshop I cant launch the website without paying? Is this a new thing? I remember that this wasnt the case? Whats up?

  Hi there!

  You still can launch your site without the need to upgrade. When you get to the page where you’re prompted to choose a domain, click on the last option to stay with the free subdomain and Skip Purchase.

  Similarly for the page where you can choose a plan. I hope that helps :)
