Can't like or follow in Brave browser

Hi all. I am not able to like anything or add things to my wordpress reader. I am able to subscribe to blogs and get emails but I am not interested in doing that. I just want them to show up in the reader. Also, I am able to like things via the reader. However, when I try to like something directly on the page, it opens up a separate window but does not do anything on the page.
This problem initially occurred on pages that had taken .worpress. out of the URL. Now it is simply all the pages.
I am using the Brave browser and it is possible that the problem lies on that end but I figured this was the place to start, since I don’t seem to have problems like this on other websites.

Hi @bubbasuess, as a quick test, can you try another browser to see if you have the same issue? Many web apps require a few scripts or cookies to make a site function, and it’s possible your browser is blocking those.

The Brave browser is a Chrome based browser that blocks ads and trackers, etc. You can download another browser here http://browsehappy.com

Perfect, @bubbasuess :) If you prefer using Brave, you probably can. You’ll just need to find how to make exceptions. I haven’t used it, but I would imagine there’s a way to see what scripts and cookies are being blocked, and opt to allow those through. Or it might simply block everything all the time. Either way, I’m glad you’ve got a solution.
As one more suggestion, you’d be welcome to use the WordPress desktop app as an alternative, then no browser is involved. I hope that helps.
