I have a domain hosted with bluehost. I also have a premium wordpress account for http://www.jollyexplorers.com – and I need to link the two things. How do I do this? bluehost say they cannot help and it is a wordpress issue as I purchased the premium upgrade with wordpress.
If I log into wordpress premium the page I design is not showing on my actual webpage.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hello @cathyvass
Yes, you can do that. Follow these steps:
    1. Create a sub-domain like blog.jollyexplorers.com
    2. Now map this sub-domain to your WordPress.COM site by following this official support guide: https://en.support.wordpress.com/map-subdomain/

NOTE: You will need an paid WordPress.COM plan on your site in order to map the sub-domain.

    3. And then add this sub-domain link to your site’s(http://jollyexplorers.com/) menu-bar.

    Hope these help 🙂

Thanks! I am not very technical so how do I create a subdomain? Is that within wordpress or the host? thank you for your help

Sine you have your domain hosted on BlueHost you need to login to your BlueHost account and then follow this BlueHost guide to create a sub-domain: https://my.bluehost.com/cgi/help/274

OK great thank you. So if that maps my premium WP site over then will I be able to use all my premium WP tools on the site hosted by bluehost?
the issue I have is that when I log into bluehost to use WP on the site it only gives me basic functions. Bluehost say because I didn’t pay the premium upgrade with them (I paid wordpress), I cant access the premium functions – can that be right??? Surely not.
    thanks again

No… you wont be able to use WP tools on http://jollyexplorers.com/, because that site itself is not hosted on WordPress.COM. It is hosted at BlueHost and is using the WordPress.ORG software package.

Both(WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG) are different products. You can find out the differences between them here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

To be able to access http://jollyexplorers.com/ via your WordPress.COM account and to use WordPress.COM features on that site, you need to install Jetpack the plugin and then, connect your site to WordPress.COM.

To install a plugin into you site, please login to your Sites WordPerss.ORG dashboard by going here: https://www.jollyexplorers.com/wp-login.php

Which premium features are you trying to access? Can you provide a link to these?
If you are trying to access premium BlueHost features(if there are any) then you need to upgrade to it.

For WordPress.ORG itself you do not need to upgrade to anything. But to map a sub-domain to your WordPress.COM blog you will need a paid WordPress.COM plan.
