Cant Link Paid Plan to the WordPress App

    I recently purchased a $300+ ‘Ultimate Managed WordPress’ package through GoDaddy. Since then I have not been able to connect the WordPress App to the package. Everytime I log into the app it insists in offering me to ‘Upgrade’ even though I already have done so. I was hoping someone could help me resolve this issue.

    Hi –

    What you purchased through GoDaddy is not related to WordPress.com.

    There are 2 versions of WordPress. What we do here at WordPress.com is a bit different from the installation of WordPress software that you use with a hosting company.

    Since laredantisocial.com is not hosted with WordPress.com you’ll want to post at wordpress.org/support for help with this site.

    When you log out of the app you’ll see that you have the option to add a WordPress.com or self hosted WordPress site. Be sure you are not picking WordPress.com.
