Can't locate my blog

I’ve just posted my first blog but when I go out of WordPress and sign in again, there’s no sign of it. The only way I can locate it is by keying the title (Why are we shouting?) into a search window. And when I click on Site Title, it says ‘No recent posts’. I’m obviously being thick(?). Also, when I Google my domain name (gamblinsword), nothing comes up. Please help. Steve

Regarding your site not being searched from Google is your site is still relatively new and you need to put in contents. Personally I got started by doing the blogging courses under the Blogging U, see this: https://en.support.wordpress.com/blogging-u/
Once you have your contents, you can work out on making your site visible in search engines, I suggest you check them out too: https://en.support.wordpress.com/search-engines/

Thank you very much for taking the trouble to respond to my problem. I tried the first link that you suggested but it will not open is in “not recognised”.
I have also scrolled down to try and locate my blog but there must be hundreds, if not thousands to get through. After 20 minutes or so, the site crashed before I could get through the lot and reach the bottom. The same thing happened a second and third time until I gave up.
I have another WordPress blog for my business and that immediately shows my blog as soon as I click onto the site. I feel I’ve missed something or that I’m making some basic error in the way I’ve entered my blog onto the site (the format is different to my business WordPress site). Pretty frustrating! Steve -
Hi Sorry to be a nuisance but you were very kind and prompt with your last reply so I hope you can help me again.
I deleted my account entirely from WordPress and then tried the entire process of opening a blogging site again. This time it worked, fortunately. One problem that I’m sure can be simply resolved: Each day, my blog drops down the page as more and more new blogs go live on the site. Surely there’s a default setting that always puts my blog at the top of the page?
