got it. Just discovered that wordpress.com does not support plugins :(
But it would be good to have a syntax highlighter plugin inbuilt in wordpress.com.Thanks,

The blog linked to your username is not a wordpress.com blog. wordpress.com blogd do not have either FTP access or individual plugin capability.
Please read this to develop clarity on the differences between wordpress.com and wordpress.org > http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

The correct forum for those who are self hosting free software installs from wordpress.org is here > http://wordpress.org/support/

Thanks timethief,
My blog is located at http://texens.wordpress.com. So I believe its hosted on wordpress.com. And hence, I can’t upload or activate a plugin.
BTW, Does wordpress.com have any tweaks or special formatting/CSS available to help syntax highlighting for coders/programmers like me who have to dump in several lines of code and make sure it looks fine ?
I’m talking about something like this :- http://s.wordpress.org/extend/plugins/syntaxhighlighter/screenshot-1.png?r=206909
