Can’t log in
-
Some years ago I had a blog ‘Hamilton North’. I since had a couple of other blogs, and Hamilton North was parked. It still gets views. Something happened that caused me to want to update that blog, but I can’t log in. I think the email address that I used at the time is no longer valid. How can I get in to amend the blog?

Hi there:
You can use the Account Recovery form to prove ownership of the site, then WordPress.com support can help you from there. You can find that form here:
https://wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=recovery
Just fill out as much information as you have including an email address where Support can get in touch.
You can read more about what the account recovery process entails here:
https://wordpress.com/support/account-recovery/
I hope that helps!

Hi csonnek
Thanks for your prompt reply. Unfortunately, this didn’t work for me.
The email address that I used to set up the original blogs (Hamilton North, Learning About Lightning, and The Purple Book) were set up using a now redundant email address ((email visible only to moderators and staff)). (The company, brumac, is no longer operational.) I’ve checked through my emails and cannot find a transaction id or activation key; the blogs were set up in 2011 and relevant emails have been lost. What are my options now? I really need to update a couple of things on these blogs!
Thank you
