Can’t Log in

    I had a WordPress blog built several years ago and have been paying GoDaddy for hosting. I haven’t ever used it. But now I want to start blogging and I can’t log in. It doesn’t recognize my username or password. I called GoDaddy and they said it must have been attacked by malware…and they can’t help me. Unless I pay them $700. I just need to get into my blog so I can work on it. Can anyone help me know what to do?

    Hello there,

    Because it is hosted by GoDaddy, that account can only be restored by them since WordPress.com has no control over sites hosted elsewhere.

    Alternately, if that can’t be restored, you can start here since you already created a site here: createwithjoey.wordpress.com
