can’t log in

I’m trying to log into my account and when I log in through word press it sends me a login email and then when I follow the link and click the button to login it says it can’t find my account. It also won’t log me in when I try to log in with a user name and password.

What is the username or email associated with the WordPress.com account you’re trying to access? I see that you are receiving login emails to access yourkelleytranslationaccount, which you are already logged into.
So, when logging in, you’ll need to use your other username account or email address to receive a magic link sent to the email associated with your other account.

I’m asking this for my flat-mate as they’re unable to get into their own account to be able to reply to this… When I sign in, I can put my email address & password, but when my mate tries to sign in to their account (same house, various PCs, yes we’ve cleared cookies)- they can only fill in their email address, not the password (which they do have!) – at that point a message appears ”We just emailed a link to (email visible only to moderators and staff) Please check your inbox and click the link to log in’ – But no email arrives, [not in spam] – despite trying many times?

And can’t fill in the ‘Account Recovery’ form as it requires ‘transaction ID’ ect which they don’t have -(I don’t think I have 1 for my account either; hope it doesn’t happen to mine!) – It’s a loop of impossibly :/
