  What site are you trying to log in to?

  If the site is hosted here at WordPress.com, you can use the steps in our Account Recovery guide to recover access to a different WordPress.com account and site.

  If the site is hosted somewhere else, as a self-hosted WordPress site, one option is to go to the site’s login page and use the “Lost your password?” link to reset your password for that site. (Those login details are separate from WordPress.com account details.) You can also take a look at the WordPress.org guide to Resetting Your Password for more ways to regain access to your site.
